Our Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Anika Ortiz may look like a typical 13-year old, but she isn't. With a list of honors, awards, and well deserved accolades, including being named as one of the "100 Most influential People in Orange County", Anika is anything but your typical 8th-grade student.

A few years ago, Anika lost her older sister Alejandra to domestic violence. Alejandra was murdered by her estranged husband. Since then, Anika has dedicated her time to help victims of domestic violence and bullying.

Anika, with the help of her mother Maria Ortiz, became an entrepreneur when she started a monthly pop-up boutique (2015) where she sold gently used clothing, accessories, shoes, and toys. She dedicated this to her sister Alejandra by donating a portion of the proceeds to local domestic violence support organization.

In addition to her school studies and entrepreneurial responsibilities, Anika is a gifted motivational speaker who has spoken at numerous schools were she shares her "Healing Journey." She also speaks at events for organizations that encourage community service and support children. Anika teaches classes for girls age 2 to 16 on variety of topics such as confidence, positivity, respect and bullying - something with which she has personal experience.
